Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom. In the end, *NO* is as strong and declarative as it’s title.

Old school Japanese fuzzed out psych from the classic P.S.F. label. Of the same cloth and time as similar Japanese monster bands Fushitsusha & High Rise, these tracks are less avant-garde than those bands and more focused on the songs and melody. Of course when discussing "Out" the stupendous playing of guitar master Michio Kurihara (later of the Japanese band Ghost) must be stated which sets the album on fire. I have been wanting to score this on vinyl for over a decade, totally worth the wait!

Ghost’s Michio Kurihara is a Japanese guitarist whose spectral tone and majestic Ebow I can spot clouds away; among their many credits together, his work on 2000’s Damon & Naomi with Ghost is truly special.
